Wow! It’s been a hot minute since my last blog post! Funny story, my 2020 New Year resolution was to blog more. Then the pandemic hit, and I have to admit, it was kind of nice to just relax a bit. I definitely did not get nearly as much work done as I was hoping to. But that’s ok, because we are back to work now, and have some really awesome stuff planned for the Christmas season!
When I was looking for Christmas portrait inspiration this year, I really wanted something that captured the magic of Christmas. For children, everything is new and exciting. The mystery of Christmas, the sounds, the sights, the smell, and the overall atmosphere. All of our sets will be up for two weeks at a time. Each one will have a play on different vintage set designs, and all images will be edited in the “painterly” fine art style. That way, your Christmas cards look like real life Hallmark cards. The scenes will be set up like a small room for your child to explore and have some fun, and also so that we make sure we get lots of those natural expressions we love so much!
Finally, a little note from our hearts.
When we are young, the holiday season is all about traditions. Writing letters to Santa, baking cookies, and decorating the tree. However, as we get older sometimes the traditions start to fade. There is nothing more special than having Christmas portraits of your children to look back on so that they may hold on to these same traditions, and maybe even pass them on to their own children.

Lastly, for this one we wanted something a bit more “winter wonderland”. Lots of snow, but also with a vintage flair.
